Desperation began in 2001 as college students asking God to move within the local church youth ministries across America and around the world. Since those meetings, thousands of students have gathered for Desperation summer conferences, tours and internships. Our prayer is that God will continue to ignite spiritual hunger, passion and desperation for Him and the expansion of His Kingdom. It's our goal to facilitate pathways for that to happen. Desperation is a youth movement for local churches.
